With deep sorrow, PNAMDC announces the passing of our beloved Press Relation Officer, dear friend, Nursing colleague, Fil-Am community leader and the Founder of Miss Teenage Philippines, Mrs. Trinidad Padama, last Saturday, March 15, 2014.
Mrs. Trinidad Padama was the beloved wife of Arturo Padama, loving mother to Michel Padama and Arthur and Marilou Padama, grandmother of Jacqueline Antonetti, great-grandmother of Isabella, Emma and Robert Antonetti. She is also survived by her sister and PNAMDC Past President Naty Labrador.
PNAMDC is indebted to Mrs. Trinidad Padama for her leadership as a Team Leader for our Medical Mission Minor Surgery Team where she emphasized strict aseptic techniques to prevent post surgical wound infection. Mrs. Trinida Padama was also the leader in ensuring that our Charitable fundraising events were successful by securing distinguished speakers from the Philippine Embassy and other highly respected organizations, and planning for well orchestrated event programs.
A nine days novena prayer vigils was held at her home from March 16th to March 24th . Mrs. Trinidad Padama’s family is inviting the family and friends of Mrs. Trinidad Padama to Trinidad’s Life Celebration today, March 27 and Saturday, March 29 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD.
In addition or in lieu of flowers, Mrs. Trinidad Padama’s family announces that donations may be made to the following organizations: Hospice of Charles County and Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center for Ruesch Center for the cure of Gastrointestinal Cancers.
